was formed as a partnership on April 16, 1974 between Robert L. Golliher And Floyd A. Golliher as sole owners. Primarily as Erectors of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings. With a starting workforce of five, the company grew at a moderate pace. On November 1, 1977, the company became a Virginia Corporation and was soon working on projects in several Mid-Atlantic States. In June of 1979, the company ventured into furnishing materials, as well as erection services by providing Shell-Only Buildings. Seeing the immediate success of this approach, the company quickly grew and shared much of the Metal Building Market in the Southwestern Virginia area.
During this growth period, the company, however, continued to maintain a strong emphasis on large erection-only projects for selected General Contractors and Developers.On February 22, 1982 this company became an Authorized Builder for VARCO-PRUDEN
BUILDINGS.
Although the company had prior association with many VARCO-PRUDENBuilder/Developers, this union opened many doors with not only additional builders, but also to Varco-Prudens Construction Division in Memphis, TN. For which many large Erection Projects were done.
