The company was formed as a partnership on April 16, 1974 between Robert L. And Floyd A. Golliher as sole owners. Primarily as Erectors of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings. With a starting workforce of five, the company grew at a moderate pace. On November 1, 1977, the company became a Virginia Corporation and was soon working on projects in several Mid-Atlantic States.

In June of 1979, the company ventured into furnishing materials, as well as erection services by providing Shell-Only Buildings. Seeing the immediate success of this approach, the company quickly grew and shared much of the Metal Building Market in the Southwestern Virginia area.

During this growth period, the company, however, continued to maintain a strong emphasis on large erection-only projects for selected General Contractors and Developers.

On February 22, 1982 this company became an Authorized Builder for VARCO-PRUDEN BUILDINGS.

Although the company had prior association with many VARCO-PRUDEN Builder/Developers, this union opened many doors with not only additional builders, but also to Varco-Pruden’s Construction Division in Memphis, TN. For which many large Erection Projects were done.

This company at present has a field force of 25 erection personnel. A large number of which have extensive experience in the field, having been with the company almost since the early beginnings.

Strengths of this company lie in the communications with employees, a well-defined and practiced safety program and certainly the excellent supervision provided to meet tight construction schedules.

The Quality Control and proven Workmanship afforded this company’s history of completed projects certainly speaks for itself.
